FlowCam analyzes particle size and more, combining the benefits of flow cytometry, digital imaging, and microscopy to see, count, and analyze particles accurately and quickly.
Most particle analyzers and particle counters provide only a distribution of particle size. FlowCam delivers full particle morphology by providing you with over 40 different measurements for each particle (including advanced shape measurements like circularity, convexity, fiber curl, and symmetry) as quickly as the other systems give you only one measurement—size.
FlowCam performs three functions all in one instrument:
- Examines a fluid under a microscope
- Takes images of the magnified particles within that fluid
- Characterizes the particles using a variety of measurements
